OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
With the introduction of the aforementioned Management System and considering the protection of the health and safety of workers as an essential goal to be achieved and constantly improved, Anti Corrosione Sardegna believes that the protection of the health and safety of employees , of third parties that operate permanently in the company and of all those who operate on behalf of the company, before a legal obligation is a moral duty and an objective that all organizations should pursue. Anti Corrosione Sardegna defines the following principles of the security policy that it intends to achieve:
to comply with the content and principles, the legislation aimed at protecting the health and safety of the workers applicable and, where possible, voluntarily apply further measures deemed necessary even in the absence of legislative obligations, adopting all the preventive measures necessary to safeguard health and worker safety;
to establish and maintain an effective Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SGSL) by making the necessary human and instrumental resources available;
to ensure that the SGSL involves the entire company organization, from the employer to the individual worker, including the employees of the external companies involved, each according to their own duties and competences; to this end, workers will be made aware and trained to perform their duties safely and to assume their responsibilities;
to provide full cooperation to local communities and competent bodies, ensuring complete transparency in information and communication to the outside;
to implement consultation and participation of workers, also through their representatives (RLS) in all areas of health and safety at work;
to involve consultants and third-party companies that work for the Company, to share the same criteria for the protection of health and safety defined in this policy
to plan the activities of the company, especially as regards the site activity, in the most defined and functional way, through the preliminary drafting of Safety Operational Plans (POS), for each individual site, correct and functional;
to encourage continuous improvement in safety and prevention, through information and training programs for all of its personnel and also by means of incentives for personnel in the event of the achievement of corporate objectives and / or the best suggestions for safety;
to check, through a monitoring system, the implementation of the SGSL and the compliance with the legislative and regulatory provisions on health and safety, defining appropriate indicators;
to pursue and achieve the objective: 0 accidents and 0 occupational diseases;
to carry out a periodic review of the Management on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System;
to carefully monitor the interdependencies between the production activities headed by the company, including any subcontractors, and those belonging to other production components present on the site, also proposing and actively participating in coordination meetings;
In order to achieve these objectives Anti Corrosione Sardegna is committed to :
periodically examine the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SGSL), revising it following new legislative obligations or analysis of accident and non-injury events, with the aim of providing all employees with constantly updated information and control instruments to prevent events;
to make use of the specialist advice of the Prevention and Protection Service (SPP), to periodically monitor the application of the laws and regulations in force, integrating them with the systematic evaluations carried out by the persons in charge, to limit the risks of events, and of complaints / sanctions by part of the deputy bodies;
to adopt organizational evaluation criteria that intervene on health and safety requirements, or the organization's ability to constantly evaluate itself, applying prevention requirements;
